Academy for Green Growth (AGG) was established as an activity to realize the long-term strategy of Vietnam National University of Agricultue (VNUA): Sustainable agricultural development comprehensively and associated with environmental protection; Improving the efficiency of resource use in agriculture,  application of research products in environmental protection, human health protection.

AGG has invested facilities (worth over 50 billion VND) including international standard laboratory system. In addition, AGG is also have a team of highly qualified staff memmbers (5 PGS, 15 PhD, 7 Masters), ensuring the ability to conduct research projects and services.

Academy for Green Growth has the following main functions:

1. Conducting scientific research in the fields of Agriculture, Biotechnology, Natural Resources, Environment and climate change;

2. Environmental consulting, environmental legal documents; Environmental planning consultancy, Environmental impact assessment, Strategic environmental assessment, Environmental protection planning; Assessment of pollution status and environmental remediation services, etc.;

3. Land management consulting: Making master plans and plans on land use; Statistics and inventory of land; Land valuation, assessment of land quality and potential, assessment of land degradation, land pollution...etc;

4. Analysis and testing: Environmental monitoring (soil, water, air); Working Environment Monitoring; Quality testing of agricultural products, Food safety, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fertilizers, etc.;

5. Production and research products (functional foods, products of natural origin, biological products..); Registration of copyright, product design quality and commercialization of scientific and technological products;

6. Training, Occupational Safety and Health Training, short-term refresher courses and certification/certification as prescribed: New Rural Training, ISO 17025 training; intensive technical training; Training on Occupational Safety and Health, Chemical safety, Safety at height, Electrical safety,...

With the slogan "for better life", the AGG constantly strives to perform well its assigned functions and tasks, actively participates in solving real and innovative problems; Strengthen cooperation with domestic and international organizations for conducting sicentific research and services
